Website Update v2

10:48 pm in NZ News by MasterLink

Important Information
The website has been growing slowly, and in the day of February, I’ve been giving up on the website. As time past by however, I’ve recognized that giving up is not a great option. Giving up makes things worse, and a good example is me visiting the site finally (May 14, 2011.) As I was in the “Admin Panel,” I was looking at the user list and saw over 6,000 spam registered users. I was really upset how I lost my eye on a website and let spammers attack. So what I did was optimize all members that registered on this website. Good news is: All members have been optimized. The bad news is: All users have been deleted. That’s right, deleted. Because of my fault of slacking off the website, I had to do such a thing to remove all spam users. Good thing I’ve visited the website, I could’ve been penalized from Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.
Updates and Changes
As I now promise, I will never leave the website again. Please forgive me, and good thing there weren’t much users that were real here anyway. There were about 2 – 5 users that were active here, but still, shame on me. To make it up, I’ve added some new features to the website to make it more interactive. You can now earn rewards and points to buy avatar iteams. You can download music, emulators, ROMs, texture packs, and wallpaper. There’s a The Legend of Zelda Wiki available for people who want to study the video game history, characters, and also gather information. Profile layout has been changed. Last, but not least, the website will be updated daily for now on.
I miss updating this website, and also gotten better with my writing skills. I hope to see some users register and see some fast growth of the website. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Top 5 Zelda Games Of All Time

4:35 pm in Zelda News by MasterLink

Anyone that visits this website loves Zelda, probably all the games too. There’s also a common question and a big war against what the best Zelda game is. Well, I listened and played all the Zelda games and I think the best 5 Zelda games out there to buy is, well, I listed them below. Before you read, I would like to hear your thoughts of what you think. Do you think that all of these games belong in the top 5.

  1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - The game was just so epic and it was so creative. The game had a bright and happy feeling to it. I really recommend you playing the game. If you want to play it, download the GameBoy Advance emulator at my website and then download the ROM at our website.
  2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - This is one of the other games that were just amazingly perfect because of that adventure feeling. Hyrule was huge in the game. You get to transform from Young Link to Link, adult version. It was long and had lot’s of side quests in the game and lot’s of emotion to it. The songs were even great.
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask - This game was just amazing. Majora’s Mask is probably the longest Zelda game that you could ever find, and also the most challenging. Each side quest in the game was like a mission, a level, a board, a challenge. I still have a hard time defeating that game till this day. Majora’s Mask had LOT’s of emotion, and yes it made me tear up at some parts.
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - I know, most of you guys hated it, but I just liked how it had emotion like when Midna left and Link found Midna was alive after seeing Gannon crush her mask. The game felt a little to dark and depressing.
  5. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - Why? The game had some funky music. It was so bright and toony, which gave it some character and some feeling of happiness.

Well, those were the top 5 best Zelda games of all time. I think you’ll probably complain on one of my suggestions. If you have a suggestion, please suggest one and explain why. Do you dislike one of my suggestions? Comment and express yourself.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate this website called Zelda Dungeon. It’s a website for Zelda fans. Walkthroughs, gameplays, and forums. That place helps you a bunch. The people there are awesome and the service rules. They helped me plan my website. They gave me ideas for Zelda news and ideas for the website. I think they could help you too, but don’t ask them for help to create a spam website. They really want to help people and want to share Zelda news. I think they deserve a Hyrule Gold for being the best website.

Zelda Roms Uploaded

3:52 am in NZ News by MasterLink

We have successfully collected all the recent Zelda ROMs. We uploaded our own downloads, meaning their Virus & Trojan free. We also included a list of emulators required for certain games. If your experiencing broken links or ROM problems, please contact us and we’ll fix the error. The ROM’s were downloaded at CoolROM, a ROM website. We downloaded the ROMs from their and then we uploaded it to our own server for you to download. Before we uploaded it to the server we had to scan it for Viruses and then manually check for Trojan programs. Everything seemed safe, so your Nintendo Zelda Secured, haha, a security program that we run. Okay, so that’s all. CoolROM is slow, so now you can download the games even faster here. Enjoy the ROMs!

Ocarina of Time On 3DS

Zelda Oot 3DS

Most of us Zelda fans loved The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. So here goes Nintendo remodeling, retexturing, and reshading the most popular Zelda game. Amazing news I know! It’s also released and yes I do have it. It’s amazing what they could slab onto the 3DS with such a big game. It took a big Nintendo 64 console and a big cartridge to play the game. Surprising enough, I think it’ll be a big upgrade to the game. My question is, “Why not remake the game for a Wii?.” Confusing because they could’ve done more remodeling to the game than they can with the DS. Disc these days can store so much data that it just makes me question Nintendo sometimes. Nintendo is great and all, but sometimes they should think more. Like Super Mario 64 could have been remodeled on the Wii as well. So why not make it on the Wii?

However, if you look at the differences, there aren’t much upgrades besides models and textures. The new Link looks outstanding as well.

You see, if you want Oot to have textures like Oot 3DS, just download an emulator and the Oot ROM and install a texture pack from online. That’s all I have to say and below is the question for today.

Twilight Princess Vs Skyward Sword

Twilight Princess vs Skyward Sword

It has come to a conclusion when I look at a video game and don’t care about any graphics. Unless of course it’s an Xbox360 or Playstation 3 video game. As for the Nintendo Wii, you can’t expect heavy duty graphics on any of the games. Unless of course, your looking to play a Resident Evil game such as Resident Evil 4, which is the only game that I’ve seen that looks outstanding on the Wii. The ONLY game that uses full power on the Wii. I really believe that the Wii could have handled a little more graphics on Twilight Princess. As for example: Better pixel shading, better shadows, and better physics. The Twilight Princess’s graphics on the Wii is no different than the graphics on the GameCube. So knowing their getting so lazy with their graphics, I’ve just stopped complaining about the graphics and moved on with not caring. Their not going to change it, or maybe they will and prove me wrong.

Anyway, we take a look at Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. When I look at Twilight Princess, I think of teenage graphics. A game that Teenagers enjoy – like hardcore gamer teenagers. Not those nerd teenagers that don’t care about graphics whatsoever, like for those who play Minecraft, which I do hate. Not making fun of nerds, because I am one myself, but I’m talking about those nerds that don’t care about appearances. However, Twilight Princess has a depressing grunge look of realism, which yes does fit with the story, but I’ve played high graphical games that are bright and happy like Banjo-Kazooi Nuts and Bolts.

Now when we look at Skyward Sword, we think of cartoons for kids. Which gives the Zelda series an unoriginal look. You see, Zelda has created this type of art so called impressionism. I personally think it’s stupid and sucks. I’m a 16 year old nerd teenager that loves seeing awesome things and Skyward Sword doesn’t cut the cheese. Also, the new Link is just straight up horrible. It bothers me too much. Link looks like… not Link in a fashion manner. However! The gameplay is quite surprising for me. The gameplay was awesome (Yes I do have Skyward Sword.) You have so many options available in the video game, but I do hate when shooting an arrow it has this zoom effect where it shoots. Pretty annoying but I could outlook that. One more thing that bothers me is the camera sucks. This game had worst camera view than Conker’s Bad Fur Day, which is another game that I like. Again, I can outlook that as I did with Conker’s Bad Fur Day.

Overall, if you compare these two video games and tell yourself, “What’s better?.” You’ll find yourself saying Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword is the winner, yes. The thing that saves the game’s life is the gameplay and feeling of happiness. The game’s graphics are quite annoying because it feels like some Mario video game, but for some reason it has this happy feeling. If you take a look at Banjo-Kazooi Nuts and Bolts, you’ll see what I’m talking about when I say a high graphical game that feels happy when your playing. Zelda could have just about those graphics and have this happy feeling instead of this depressing grunge look.

Zelda Music Reorchestrated Is Better

12:45 am in Resources by MasterLink

Zreo Music Is Better

There isn’t anything better than listening to Zelda music when your bored. Zelda music is pretty and… well pretty. I also listen to Zelda music when I’m looking for Zelda music for my Flash Zelda games that I make. Sometimes Zelda music play out your mind, but there’s something that I’ve discovered that makes Zelda music extremely addictive. Almost like listening to World of Warcraft music. Well here’s your first hint: ZREO. Care to guess what that means? Well here’s another hint: ZREO banner. Now do you know? That’s right, Zelda Reorchestrated, also known as ZREO. ZREO is a group of people that remake Zelda music into something better. Wonderful I know! However, don’t expect the music to sound like the original. Not as the exact beats and all, but as in the theme. I highly recommend listening to some awesome ZREO music. You could also download the songs as well. For now though, visit the site: ZREO Music.

Skyward Sword – A New Zelda Style

12:18 am in Game Releases, Zelda News by MasterLink

Skyward Sword

The new video game released for the Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has been changed graphically different from we expected. The graphics and textures in the game look identical to Wind Waker. We were expecting Skyward Sword to have more of a realistic look, more realistic than Twilight Princess. But the game looks like a toony. I think they did a great job with the colors. Nintendo is always good with their colors. I think Nintendo should wait until HD is compatible with the Wii before they release these new games. Seriously, it’s getting annoying playing standard resolution games on the Wii. I hope they release all the Wii games on the new console. Okay so, back to the new style of the game. Below is one more screenshot from the game.

Skyward Sword 2

Now here’s a gameplay of the game. I like the animation and physics of the game. I hope you like the gameplay. It was found on YouTube. Enjoy!

Okay, that’s all I guess. Thank you for visiting our website. Be sure to check out more news and updates. We also have some games for you. Enjoy the rest of the website!
